I started off doing dog walks part-time as a substitute for a friend of mine. Her group of close-knit dog walker friends had moved away, leaving her with no one to serve as a qualified back-up. We had just met about a year earlier, and she knew I had two dogs and a cat of my own, and thought it would be a good fit. Little did I know that it would blossom into a passion and become my full-time work!
I am looking to expand my vision into helping my fellow Harlem community members to walk and care for their fur babies. I don’t much care for large pack walks, as I feel that it takes away from the dogs’ ability to read their “pee-mail” and have quality one-on-one time with another human. My insurance does not cover any incidents when your dog is off-leash under my care, so I don’t do any off-leash play dates in parks.
I’ve been a dog owner for over 25 years, so I know how to care for your pooch. However, each pet has their own personality and if they have certain preferences for treats, walking paths, or have allergies, fears, or other nuances, it’s important to communicate that information to me ahead of any walks. It makes for a better experience for both human and dog.
I also can visit your cats to change their litter, refill their food & water, and to provide some much needed belly rubs. The prices are listed on a separate tab for the dog walks, and cat care.
If you need my help, please feel free to reach out to me, Ann M.! You will meet me, and not some stranger from an app.
Many thanks to you for reading, and have a beautiful day!
